We’re excited to welcome you back to Leiden, the Netherlands. The Festival will take place at the Stadsgehoorzaal, located in the heart of the city and easily accessible.

UXinsight Festival is one of the few conferences dedicated to the research profession. The program is single-track and carefully curated. We don’t look for shiny names, big organisations or popular brands. We look for honest stories about how we shape the research profession together.

You will notice this in:

• a program curated by peers (more on this on the call-for-speakers page)
• room for reflection (e.g. lengthy breaks, a pause area and reflective exercises)
• low-pressure networking (e.g. UXinsight by Night, speed dating, conversation starters)

UXinsight Festival attracts people who are deeply involved in applied customer and user research, from curious newcomers to seasoned professionals. It’s a relatively small, intimate conference with 250 to (max) 350 participants in Leiden.

Most attendees have 5+ years of experience. The mix is researchers, designers and research (operations) managers, from a wide range of sectors including tech, e-commerce, finance, government and education.

In short: a lot of research nerds in one room.

• Ticket sales open on January 19, 2027. 
• From January 19 to February 2, you can get your ticket at our early-bird price: the lowest it will be. 
• Spots for the Full Festival experience and UXinsight by Night are limited, so we recommend booking early if you don’t want to miss out.

We offer a maximum of 350 tickets. Divided into two types:

Full Festival experience – 3-day ticket Early bird €995 – Regular €1195* (excl 21% VAT)

• Access to live talks and Q&As
• Meet and chat with peers
• Access to sponsor demos
• Lunch and catering
• Half-day interactive program on Monday. More on the topic soon.

Best for: Those who want the full experience – learning, networking, and connecting in person.

Conference experience – 2-day ticket Early bird €775 – Regular €975* (excl 21% VAT)

• Ticket valid on April 6 and 7
• Access to live talks and Q&As
• Meet and chat with peers
• Access to sponsor demos
• Lunch and catering

Best for: Those who are focused on talks but want to soak up the festival atmosphere.

* Dutch tax rates of 21% apply to all in-person tickets. 

No, UXinsight Festival is in-person only. We believe the best conversations, connections, and ideas happen when we’re actually in the room together. We’ve tried to translate that online, but we felt that we couldn’t fully deliver what we believe a good research conference should feel like.

Yes, we offer:

• Early bird pricing: get your ticket at the lowest prices between January 19 and February 2. 
• Group discount: Purchase 4 or more tickets and enjoy an automatic 15% discount in your shopping cart. (Please note, group discounts don’t apply to early bird tickets.)
• Accompanying ticket (free): If you need to bring a personal assistant or caregiver for accessibility reasons, contact us by email to make the arrangements.

Your ticket is personal. If a colleague also wants to join the conference, please buy a separate ticket so you can both enjoy all activities and benefit from networking opportunities.

We offer groups of 4 or more a discount of 15% (does not apply to early bird tickets). 

We accept payment by Invoice, Bank Transfer, credit card, and iDEAL.

We don’t offer refunds, but you can transfer the ticket to someone who can take your place.

Please send your request, including the personal details of the person replacing you, to info@uxinsight.org to transfer your ticket. Ticket transfers are possible until 24 hours before the start of the Festival.

All prices are subject to VAT. For in-person events in the Netherlands, 21% Dutch VAT applies.

• April 5: half-day highly interactive program. 
• April 6: conference days with talks, live Q&As, networking sessions, break activities, sponsor demos and more. It’s a single-track program, so no FOMO.
• April 7: UXinsight by Night. A social program to enjoy the evening and connect with peers in a relaxed, informal setting.

UXinsight by Night on Tuesday, April 6, is an evening full of fun, food, and drinks. It is all about low-effort and enjoyable networking.

The evening includes a team activity, dinner, and drinks. If your team wins, you’ll earn eternal glory and a nice prize, plus a great conversation starter for the final conference day.

For many of us, connecting with fellow researchers is one of the biggest perks of attending a conference. At the Festival, we’ve made this a core focus:

• Monday’s interactive session: Collaborate in small groups with like-minded peers on shared challenges.
• Plenty of breaks: Lots of time to connect and exchange views during the in-person event. During the breaks, we offer speed networking and roundtable discussions. And for those of you who need some quiet time, we’ve got you covered in the quiet pause area. 
• Live Q&As: Dive deeper into insights through engaging discussions.
• UXinsight by Night (April 6): Enjoy low-effort networking, fun, food, and drinks in a relaxed setting.
